Installing a 5.2L engine into a 2001 Grand Cherokee

The 307 was designed for smooth power for family sedans. But that's the beauty of the SBC. There are SO many displacements made and so many parts around that you can build whatever you want for whatever purpose. It's reliability rivals that of the jeep 4.0, but with that, you're kind'a stuck with what ya got.

Yes without a doubt when GM introduced the little "265ci." engine in 1955 it evolved into a real beast of small ci. engines for decades to come. My first was in a 1956 Chevy 4 dr.
It still remains at the top of the list for building entry level race cars because of the cost vs. HP gained and the availability of parts new and used. That's why you see them in so many other brands of cars. The LS series opened even the door wider to more HP but the days may be numbered for hot rodding of new cars and engines the basis which all came.

Model: Grand Cherokee (WK)
Engine: 5.2 V8
Take it from me if it's not the steering damper, or track bar. The ball joints are causing the death wobble! Almost flew off the freeway 5 times I changed the whole front suspension come to find out it was a $60 ****ing ball joint lol
