intermittent rough starts and stalls & weird codes
1999 grand Cherokee
The computer throws B1604, C1500, and P003b. My service manual doesn't list these codes at all (first two don't even look like dtc codes to me). I searched Google but couldn't really find much or anything I trust anyways.
It sometimes has a hard time starting and idling. Even if you try to rev it up a little bit. The stalling happens while driving down the road it just loses all power then it either kicks right back in or completely kills it.
Cold start or warmed up doesn't seem to matter with these issues. Starts and runs perfectly fine other than when it decides it doesn't want to which is a pita.
I've looked at the wiring didn't see no obvious issues. I had to replace the fuel tank when it dropped so I used mine (this is my aunt's jeep) and I know my fuel pump worked perfectly fine. So I know that it's not that. I replaced both 02 sensors ( with my used ones) as it was throwing those codes and a cat code. When I did that it cleared all 3 codes. Now these weird ones are popping up. The b1604 popped up the next day, and today when I checked (been a couple months but now it seems to be getting worse for her) the c1500 and p003b also came up.
I do have another jeep I can pull parts off of to use/just test. I figure I'd go through all the wiring with a fine tooth comb and pull a plug just to see what it looks like today.
Any help even your best guesses would greatly be appreciated. Cause honestly that's all I'm doing at this time. I'd really like to get this worked out. She's poor like me lol so just taking it to the shop isn't really an option.
