junk yard tips ?

junk yard tips ?
my rear leaf springs have neg.arch in them was going to go low rider till i could find cheaper priced leafs but upon closer inspection realized my shackles are deteriating i just want to get ole girl back to stock .
so now im gonna go to a u pull it place and try and wrestle a set out hopfully with shackles. never been to a u pull their sight says no jacks and they will lift for you so witch sounds good to me .
i have a cordless sawz all a pack of metal blades. and basic tools sockets adjustable wrenches pipe wrenches a preswation pipe a propain torch.hammers .
any thing else might come in handy ?
was wondering if i should /can tie the axle to somthing so it doesnt fall on me toes lol or just let it fall out ?
and does any one know why stock leaf springs are so dang pricey ? good greif ! used pulled at the we pull it $75 a peice!! not including shackle hate to ask how much shackles are a peice there

my opinion is buy new shackles. 80 percent chance you wont get them out. bolts siezed in the bushings.give it a try and then cut them to get the springs out.some parts just dont pay to get used.they will probablly pick up the truck with a fork lift for you.bring a half inch drive long breaker bar and the right size socket.
better yet see if you can get the bolts out of your car first cause if you cant then its time to just bring it to a spring shop.

lol well if i get the bolts out of mine first, i have no ride to the salvage yard is the only problem with that idea.
if i could this would be the way to go 4 sure
