junk yard tips ?

what i meant was see if your bolts are siezed in the bushings. if they are and you can free them then you cant install new springs by yourself so no sence going to a junk yard.

Old fart with a wrench
I had a 1962 Chrysler 300 with bad rear springs. I took it to a local spring shop that specializes in truck springs. They heated and re-arched the main leaves, replaced the #2 leaves and added a leaf to each side. They told me not to expect it to last because the steel wasn't very good. 6 years later, it was still up and solid. It didn't cost me very much either, much less than new springs. I even put a Hemi into it and they were fine.
