Location of electronic modules?
Our Jeep was partially submerged in water, for about 4 minutes (interior was up to top of console) and never stopped running. Drove it in and had a mechanic run diagnostics on it and he said 21 of the 23 systems were not working and he was shocked it was still running! He estimated it would cost about $6,000 to fix it! It still seems to run fine and there was a LOT of functions that weren't working but were fixed after I replaced the PCM under the rear seat. However some functions still not working...
1. Power locks work using remote, but not the door switches.
2. Heater and A/C controls on dash do not work. (the rest of the dash controls all seem to work).
3. VES function no longer works or shows as an option on the Mode screen on the audio/video screen. CD player works fine.
All the fuses are good. Looking for ideas on what to check next. Is there another electronic module somewhere that would control these functions? Do I need to do a reset on the modules?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have kept the Jeep in good shape (has 172k miles on it) and really hate to have to replace it, but can't afford to put a whole lot of money into it, at this point.
Thanks!

Old fart with a wrench
The problem with this is even after you get everything working again, water goes into the wiring harnesses and wicks up the wires under the insulation and will cause problem down the road that are hard to diagnose. After hurricanes, a lot of cars were sold that shouldn't have been without being classified as a "flood car." Clean fresh water isn't as bad as salt water, but water and electronics don't play well together. Personally, I think you should cut your losses and sell it as is.
