Everything that should be welded is.... just bad welds. Gunna fix broken weld tomorrow. Then start fixing all the other welds.

and yes it is an 8.8

they did a great job welding the gears... BUT as I said, you will need to fix the axle side, rear, upper control arm mounts... it IS NOT safe as it sits

as for upgrading it, you will need to pull the axle shafts out of the way and gt a new carrier... then you can upgrade...

keep in mind you need the same gear ratio front and rear
Yeah, completely tore that from the axle...... gettin fixed tomorrow with some xtra support.

not sure if you have ever welded axles... just take your time and don't warp axle tubes

I'm not welding it. Guy I know is. I have seen his welding and rigs he built so I'll be good.
