low idle and strange stutter on GF's jeep

low idle and strange stutter on GF's jeep
Hey all,
My girlfriend has an 03 grand cherokee, automatic, totally stock. Just recently it feels like it's idling pretty low when she comes to a stop. Shakes a little bit and almost sounds like its going to stall out but doesn't. Also every now and then she says it feels like her transmission "skips" or stutters when shes driving right around 70 mph. It does the same sort of stutter/hesistation when she slows down sometimes.
Any ideas what could be going on? Thanks in advance.
