Default need help on deciding what lift kit to get

so i wanna run 33's or 35's while not going too high. i was thinking the IRO 3.5 (probably the foundation kit and with an adjustable track bar because i plan on adding a 1"-2" bb later on) or the IRO 4.5" kit (not the premium). i would also get new rear 3.5" coils and with that added it ends up being not that much less money then the 4.5" so it seems the 4.5" would be a better deal. what do you guys think? if i got the 4.5" i wouldnt get new control arms till later. i also wont be doing any crazy wheeling, just snow, light trails etc. what do you guys think?

well that helped
IRO stuff is good quality. you need to decide on tire size. 4.5" lift will let you run 33 or 35 with the right amount of trimming. but those control arms erally start to become important in getting the wheels centered back in the wheelwells.
Dont short cut it. Do it right the first time. youll be happy you did

I wasn't familiar with those parts, I was just putting in my .02 on what has worked the best for me in the past.

im leaning to 33's cuz ive heard with 35's you should start replacing axles and stuff. id like to get the 4.5" kit but there is quite a big gap in parts and cost between the 4.5" and 3.5" so i cant make up my mind. if i got 4.5" i still would get the control arms just not until later and i wont be doing any hard wheeling, just driving to school and boxing everyday which is like not even a 5 min drive.

I'm running the RC 4.5 SA kit with full leafs on 31's and I have plenty on space. I don't know how much your planning on spending, but I paid 900$ shipped for mine and I'm really happy with it. You should be able to fit 33's with minimal trimming. Anything bigger and you have to start changing gears.

I was just gonna ask you that after just seeing the zj in your avatar. I didnt even pay attention to the fact you said rear coils.

You will need the control arms when you do the lift so if that means you save longer or wait to put the lift on. If you did the lift without longer arms than the front and back would be pulled a lot towards the center of your zj. Also and especially if you wanted 33's you will have to have your axle centered and then do a good bit of trimming if you plan on any flex
Hope I was helpful
