Im thinking about going with a 4in lift and 33's. I really like the way ut grand looks with that similar setup. What lift and tires do u recommend that's not gonna break the bank?

Im kinda biased being i haven't owned many other tires...but i love my maxxis bighorns...great on road, not too loud and really smooth....and do AWESOME off road, clean out great and never have gotten stuck...even in 3 foot of mud.lol They run about $800 for a set of 4.

ok, i cant belive im the first to tell you this but u might want to look into something called "deathwobble" second if your gonna do a cheap lift the way to go is either 2" spacers OR a Front to Rear swap that gets you about 3.5" of lift

I looked online and found a page that describes the whole front rear swap. They said after doing the swap ur front front axle moves and u have to buy adjustable axles. Therefore since my car has about 120,000 miles on it, im sure my springs are as strong as they used to be. Also I have the v8 model which is going to make the truck even heavier. Therefore instead of buying 4 new springs, 4 new shocks, insulators and having to buy adjustable axles wouldn't I be better off doing it right the first time and buying a lift kit. I mean after its all said and I think im gonna be spending about the same on a front rear swap as I would on a lift kit and im gonna be a better ride, more level rig, and not have axle movement issues. Lmk what u guys think and what some cheap but good lifts kits are. Thanks.

the age of those springs of the front isnt going to change the lift, most people have over 150,000 miles, so theres nothing to worry about there, and you HAVE to have the V8 model for this Front to rear to work... the front springs of the v8 are bigger to acomadate the weight of the V8
i got my lift kit at Ironrockoffroad.com for 330 dollars. it gets you everything you need to get it up there 3.5 inches, if you do anything over 3.5" your going to have to replace more stuff like longer track bars, longer control arms, and that stuff aint cheap
