yup, try the passenger side door, if that don't work, then try the hatch, then the drivers door.
hopefully one of those will reset it.

did you install and hook up the crank position sensor? make sure it's plugged in, if not, try unplugging and blowing in the plug, then plug it back in and try it.

I did find out that the crank sensor did get pinched so I took it out and fixed the wires still no power. The other thing I did notice is when the motor is cranking my oil pressure is low. Will this cause the pcm to kill power to the coil? And since the wires were pinched will that cause it to short out?

i think the low oil pressure while cranking is normal, just as long as it climbs when it turns over.
so i don't think that's the problem. someone else may chime in here.
i think it has something to do with the crank sensor. i'd say buy a new one, but those usually aren't returnable. maybe grab one or two from a junk yard.
you can also check the voltage to the crank sensor and coil to see if it's normal.
maybe try unhooking the battery for 15 minutes to see if it clears any codes.

It does climb while cranking. I have no voltage to the coil. I double checked all fuses and relays. Its starting to get frustrating. It ran just fine before the swap

if the cps wires where pinched and grounded out you could of fried the ecu... if you can open the ecu see if there was any magic smoke and burnt circuits

If the ecu was fried wouldn't I have lost power to pretty much eberything in the engine compartment? I am going to replace the cps and see what happens I think it mite have shorted out when I got pinched
