Default Need some lift help

I have 96 GC Limited v8, I was looking at Rancho 4" kit because it upgrades the control arms, but dont feel like switchin out the front driveline because I have the cv style, also looking at Iron Rock 3.5 kit but it doesnt say much about cv driveline. Would like to fit 33's. Any info appreciated thanks.

Trust me, if your going to lift it switch out that rzeppa shaft. It can't deal with the added angles of being lifted. I broke 2 so far. I am on my 3rd one so far. This one is temporary as it is snowing here, until I get all the parts to swith it over to ujoint style.

Also, 33s will be tight at 3.5-4" of lift. Gonna need to trim if your gonna offroad it. I have run my 34s and I'm at about 4" of lift total. It rubbed the pinchseam and front bumper. Didn't run it hard offroad as I have my XJ for that.

I had my '97 ZJ's CV front shaft switched to a u-joint shaft from another ZJ at a shop, and I haven't even lifted it. I just hate CV joints and don't trust them.
And Welcome to CF.

Thanks for the replies I guess I will look into switching it afterall I wanted the RE lift but a little out of my range was thinkin the Rancho lift with RE tracbar and disconnects, I know my whole suspension needs a redo at 180k so trying to get the most for money. Alot good info on here im new to Jeep so its a whole new learning curve from my Z28.

Also I have the Up Country Package on My GC will that throw my lift off level if I just do the cheaper Iron Rock Lift.
