I lost power steering in my WJ midway through a long trip. She steers fine making slight adjustments going in a straight line, but anything more than a slight curve takes mammoth strength to make her turn. Theres nothing visually or audibly wrong, reservoir is full and fluid is clean and she isnt making any weird noises, she just quit on me. Anyone experience this before or have any ideas where to start looking? I just replaced the gear box not too long ago.

Have someone saw the steering wheel back and forth and see if the pressure line moves. if not, probably the pump is shot. If it does, then you have a problem with the box
