I drive a 2014 Jeep grand cherokee srt. I have been suffering from an issue since February. It all started one night just regular driving with my wife and two friends in the back. The vehicle started binding clunking on SHARP SLOW turns. For example, pulling into a parking space or a driveway. It happens when going forward or in reverse.

The first dealership in Hawaii told me that my rear wheel was binding and I had a bad rear differential. So I replaced it costing me 3000$. Still had the problem. Then they said try the rear wheel speed sensor. I did that. Still had the problem. They then said it was my transfer case. I replaced that for another 3000$. The problem was still there.

I then moved to Georgia and immediately started to pursue the problem with my local dealer. They said the only thing left was the front differential. So I replaced that along with both cv axles to be safe. You guess it. Another 3000+$. It didn't fix the issue. They then replaced the transfer case control module, also known as the drivetrain control module. And that didn't fix it.

But here's the thing. When they uplug the tccm, the problem goes away. There's no binding when turning. I seen on other forums that replacing the module fixed the issue. I've seen other forums saying the clutches were bad on the tc. Well I've replaced the tc and the module. I am losing my mind and over 10k$ to find this problem and I don't know where else to turn! Please anybody help me.

They did the relearn procedure on both the tc and the rear diff. So that's not it. But for some reason when the tccm is plugged in, it's as if it's telling the front diff to engage when I'm turning when it shouldn't be?

I know this was long. Sorry.

P.s. I did not have the dealer install the tc or the rear diff. Only the front diff. However, I did supply the shop I used with atf +4 for the fluids. Which is the correct fluids.
