Turn the ohmmeter setting to infinity and touch the probes together. The needle should swing full scale. Then touch one probe to the ground connector pin in the harness and the other to a good grounding spot on the body. The needle should also go full scale or not move if the wire is broken somewhere. If it shows a resistance, you've got a loose connection.
CAUTION! Make sure you don't touch a power source with the ohmmeter. It will blow the fuse in the meter or destroy it if it doesn't have one.

Thanks! I will be sure to bring the Vaseline when i go to pick her up....I'm sure it will not be pleasurable! I will let y'all know what they say and thank you all for your expertise!
