Possible gear problems
Hey guys and gals. I took over my ZJ from my brother in law. And the jeep had sat for 10 years. Only modifications I have done is bigger tires and a lift kit. When I give it throttle is seems to take a while for it to get into next gear. Has anyone had this issue?

Try adjusting the throttle kickdown cable, but remember you have added more resistance to the engine with the bigger tires, in essence reducing the axle ratio. Shift RPMs can be changed with the cable, but not time before the shifts.
