Power Window issues
I have a 95 Grand cherokee Limited
The power windows wont work when the drivers side door is open and every so often it wont work at all. If I open and close the doors a few times it will work again. I am guess a pinched wire?
Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions for repair? or do I have to rewire everything?

Yea probably a pinched or broken wire where it comes from the body into the door. This would be the best place to start. But it could be the switch is going bad or is dirty. My wifes Malibu started actind up like that and I cleaned the switch with compressed air. She is a smoker and evidently ashes had gotten into the switch.

the power windows in my old dodge ram did this also, it was a pinched wire, i jus looked around the wires when the door was open and saw the break in the wire, i used a piece of electrical tape to fix.
