Power windows dead
Las Vegas, Nevada,109* degrees, A/C quit, power windows went dead, interior lights and instrument panel lights came on constant apart from headlights. Removed drivers door panel and dropped window, drove home in the desert air. I’m testing relays, fuses, checking wiring harness for wear and or breaks, so far nothing found, no fault codes, mystery glitch…I’m sure there are some folks out there who have had similar electrical issues. 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ Laredo 4L 6cyl. I’ll be skunking around under the hood and dashboard, so if you’ve had the same experience, I’d like to know what you found, BTW I checked the wiring in the rubber door sock, didn’t find a break, had that problem in my ‘05 Sube OB so that’s the first place I suspected, still probing for the issue…

This has happened on my 2004 SE 4.7…windows wouldn’t work and interior lights would either stay on or wouldn’t work at all. Disconnected battery for 15 minutes and everything would work again. I’ve had to do this about 3 or 4 times within the last year

It's the electrical harness that comes out of the door and goes into the car. Also this: when the windows don't roll down it causes the air conditioner NOT to blow cool.
There is nothing wrong with the AC. replace that harness.

Check all your ground wires
Under the hood and behind the spare tire carrier
