Rear passenger window won't go up
I bypassed the switch and got the window up but I can figure out why, even after changing the switch in the rear passenger Door and the master switch in the driver door I still get the same crap. Window goes down, motor works fine, won't go back up or even make a peep out of the motor. I feel it's electrical at this point and would love a point in the right direction. Please and thank you for any responses

Hi Billy. Welcome to the forum.
First, what vehicle do you have? We are short of mind readers here, so please help us out. I'm guessing by your year and motor that you have a Grand Cherokee, but your profile says you have an XJ, which is a Cherokee. (No, the Grand Cherokee is not a Cherokee, it's a very different vehicle.)
Second, once you get that sorted out, please post in the correct Technical section for your vehicle.
For an XJ, that's here, and for a Grand Cherokee, that's here.
This section is for general chat, not for technical questions.

Your window regulator (motor) is most likely going bad. That's a common problem on pretty much any older Jeep, and is easily and cheaply replaceable.

Old fart with a wrench
No, I'm betting on a broken wire in the door jamb bundle. That's exactly what happened on my WJ. This was in the frigid cold of January, so I took the door panel off and hotwired the motor to make it go up, then waited until June to fix it. I left the motor disconnected until then. I used a battery charger as a power source.
