rear swap
I am thinking of doing a axle swap on my 96 zj I've got the horrible d44 w/ 3.73's. I"m thinking the d60 w/ 4.56'ers would let me run the 37s I want, bein that it has the 35 spline but my question is i really want to do this sooner than later how can i do it in a cost effective way?
Also does anyone on here run a welding rearend/ full spool on a DD. I've heard of some guys runnin a welded rear on cjs but nothing newer? any and all advice/comments welcomed thx

On a DD it's not really a good idea at all to be Rollin on a welded rear end .... 1 u have to be a VERY good welder and 2 ur gonna chirp ur tires all the time on corners etc .... Take a corner too fast and u can snap ur rear axle
I've got a welded rear end 8.25 with 35's , but I don't drive on street except headin to the trails , even then I'm a grandma on corners and super cautious .... And they are good welds.
