Rear upper shock mount
Hey I was changing my shocks today and the bolt on the rear upper mount snapped off. How do I go about fixing this. It snapped off flush with the mount. Does that bolt run all the way through the mount if so how do I get it out to replace it. Or do I have to cut the whole mount off and replace that. It’s a 95 grand Cherokee limited. Thanks for any help you can give

Old fart with a wrench
If I remember correctly, there is a weldnut on the inside of the frame so you can drill out the bolt and clear the thread for a new bolt. If it's flush and not recessed, try welding a nut over the broken bolt on the inside of the nut, then try removing it with a wrench. The heat of the welder usually loosens the threads. This procedure works great with aluminum heads because the aluminum transfers the heat quickly. With the steel, you have to be careful not to weld the nut into anything except the bolt, like making sure the nut is smaller than the bolt and perfectly aligned.
