Remove My ABS?
Hello all. I have a 98 5.9 that's throwing an ABS light on the dash. Also sometimes it feels like the ABS is kicking in when it shouldn't ( on dry pavement at an intersection). I would like to remove the ABS from the Jeep. What's the best way to do that?

Old fart with a wrench
On the 98, you may be okay, but on my 2000 WJ, pulling the fuses has me getting weird messages on my VIC and constant chimes. The Body Control Module does diagnostic scans of all system at intervals and gets confused.
For instance, The VIC says "Auto seat adjust disabled. Seat belt connected." First of all, I don't have power seats and my seat belt wasn't connected. Go figure.

Thank you I'll give that a try. Also wanted to know if anyone has had any luck upgrading their brakes on a zj to EBC rotors and pads? My brakes are pathetic.

I used ebc rotors on the front of my old xj and they were amazing. I want to get them for my zj but it's a little more pricey for the whole set. As far as stopping and quality they are top notch
