Default Removing cylinder head without removing manifold

So I'm doing the passenger side head gasket on my 94 5.2 zj. I've got 8 out of 10 head bolts removed, the last 2 being the rear most bolt, and the bolt under the center ports. Obviously removing the exhaust manifold is the way to go, but I can't. I physically can't crawl under it, I don't have a floor jack, and I'm stuck doing this outside in northern Michigan in January. Anyone been able to pull the head without pulling the exhaust manifold? Can't afford to pay someone else to do it otherwise I would've gone that route

If it will clear everything, yank it out.

it will not clear. The issue is I can't get a socket onto the bolts because the manifold is in the way and no amount of prying gets me enough room

I completely misunderstood you. I took it as leaving the exhaust manifold attached to the head. As in the head is loose but the manifold isnt

yeah I tried to get to the exhaust flange bolts underneath I just couldn't do it. I need a floor jack but I don't have one and that's looking like my only option unfortunately
