Wow...just finished mocking up a replacement fan for replacement of the stock one in an 02 Grand Cherokee....man, the factory one is a piece of poo. Anyway, pulled that and the shroud off in favor of a Motorcraft fan which covers approx. 90% of the fin area and soldered a harness together so I could retain the factory 2-wire connector. The Motorcraft fan is a shrouded 18" fan and pulls about 3800-4200 CFM on high and it is easily twice the fan the stock one was. Here in Iowa lately its been averaging 100 degrees for the last week and the temps never go over 190 and the AC is blowing really cold too! Anyway, if anyone wants details on the install, PM me and I can fill you in. I'm going to post a few pics of the install so you can see how well it fits pretty soon.
