replacing oxygen sensors
i've been having some weird problems with my jeep lately. its a 2000 grand cheroke laredo 4.7l v8. idling issues, hesitating when accelerating, lots of weird stuff. replaced my TPS with no luck, took it to a dealership to get it diagnosed...they say i need new upstream/downstream oxygen sensors and connectors, new crankshaft position sensor, and new camshaft position sensor. my question is, when i buy the oxygen sensors do they come with the 'connectors' that i supposedly have to replace?

First off.....
NEVER ask a dealership to diagnose your rig.
Do you hcurrently have a Check Engine Light (CEL) on?
If yes, have you plugged in a scanner and retreived the codes?
What are they?
Any auto parts can and will do it for free.

Error codes are generated by the PCM, not the sensors.
Error codes are result of an signal from a sensor outside of the normal parameters that programmed into the PCM itself.
Although a bad connector can cause problems, it will generally cause an Error Code due to a faulty signal. High resistance across a set of contacts can cause a voltage drop. The PCM would see just the lower voltage and report it as an Error Code.
Has anyone suggested a plugged cat?

looks like the dealership actually checked my cat to see if it was clogged. they claim to have narrowed it down to exactly what i mentioned in the first post...so back to my original question, if i buy new oxygen sensors does that come with the connectors i need?

Should be plug and play

Old fart with a wrench
New sensors come with the sensor side of the plug. He's probably talking about the harness side of the connectors which will require splicing the wires into the harness. These should be soldered because of the low voltage signals involved. If you are good with electronics, you could do this yourself. Just make sure your splices are moisture tight.
