Running hot
So, like the title says, I've been running hot lately. I have changed out the thermostat, water pump and clutch fan. Even added a pusher fan. Still running.

well what temp is it running at? 210 is the normal temp for the 4.0L to run at.

have you tested your radiator cap? you can rent the testing equipment from most major auto parts stores. A faulty radiator cap can cause your system to not function properly.

Running hot
My 93' Jeep Cherokee is also running hot. We replaced the radiator, fan clutch, therm, water pump and radiator cap. The gauge says its in red, and then my jeep will start smoking and making this loud grinding like noise. We thought maybe the radiator we bought from the Pick-N-pull place was bad so now I went out and bought a brand new one from AutoZone..If that doesnt work, what else could it be?

I replaced the radiator cap and it's still running hot. I checked both upper and lower hoses and lower is significantly cooler. Could I just have a bad temperature sensor?

If you have access to a scan tool that can read the live data stream, you can see what the coolant temp sensor reads vs what the gauge reads. You can also use a temp gun and see what kind of reading you're getting at the thermostat housing. The lower radiator hose should be cooler than the upper hose. A temp gun is very handy to have, you can use it to find what cylinder is misfiring, checked for clogged catalytic converters, all kinds of stuff.

Do the above, see if you can verify the engine temp to see if the guage is accurate.
