Guys, thx for the advice, I worked in a garage when I was 15 doing some oil changes and stuff, but I dont think I'd be able to do all this on my own at the moment.

Anyhow, you guys answered my question, thx very much, you think all this will cost me more than 200-300$?

When ur stranded theres no other option. As long as your work has a Corp parts account at Napa they even deliver what you need. Haha. Im just saying pulling up in a bank drive thru and throwing down some tools like its your garage doesn't seem like a good idea. Probably loitering and trespassing

The cost really depends on where you live and the shop itself. We have expensive shops here and mom n pop shops also. At a main stream shop with a big fancy building could be up to 600 700 easy. If you want a shop to do it ask around if theres a good small garage to go to or I know alot if dealer techs and mechanics that do side work at home on the side for extra cash. There may be some people local to you that know someone like that. Or maybe a local member from here could help you out with the work.

My Jeep has 190000km (118000 miles) and has started to make some funny squeeks and little rattling noises coming mostly from the front I believe, when I drive it over any little bump or crack on the road. I also do not get that extra humph when I press on the gas, it felt more sturdier/quicker when I bought this Jeep 2 years ago with 165000 km on it. It feels like it drags now when I press on the gas pedal, especially on an uphill, it just does not feel as powerful as it once was. I also have an issue with the AC not working on the passenger side of the vehicle suddenly.

Can you guys help me concerning the slow acceleration and/or ac issues I am having?

What parts should I order? And can I go to my local mechanic whom I trust or is it more recommended that I go to the stealership, dealership sorry.

Thank you all very much. 2006 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.7 4WD

Hesitation can be alot of things. If you have a mechanic that you trust, I would at least have him take a look. How long has it been since it has had a full tune up?

I just did a minor sparkplug and air filter change last month. That's all. What else should I do?
