speedometer sensor
Just changed the viscous coupler in my 94 GC.I am sure I have the gear in correctly but the speedo is not reading any mph. The sensor felt easier to put on than when I took it out maybe it's not meshed with the drive gear.Other than a wiring problem from removing it I don't know what it could be.I will try reinstalling it this weekend .Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

I think it has to be indexed (rotated) to engage correctly. That's so you can use different gears for different axle ratios.

Thanks Dave I watched the direction it came out but I think it didn't engage going back in.That was the last mechanical work for this job before refilling so I was kinda beat at that point.I will try to re-engage it this weekend and see how it goes.At least the wheels aren't binding anymore. Thanks Bob
