It seems I'm getting a squeak when I turn the wheel. The squeak is coming from the front end. The best way to describe it is that it sounds like a brake wear indicator at low speed scraping against the rotor. I know it is not the brakes, they are new.

Could this be a wheel hub/bearing assembly or something different? I can only hear it when I have the windows down and I am turning at low speed (most likely because there is too much wind noise at higher speeds).

Any ideas?

Jack it up, pull off the tire. Inspect your suspension and steering for rubbing/binding of parts.

Check the thin metal rotor guard on the rear side; you could have something wedged in there, or it could be bent, rubbing up against the rotor.

Check to ensure brake pads are seated properly.

Swing rotor out of the way and pull off your rotor. If it has rust scale on the outer/inner edges, this could be riding against the outside edge of the brake pad lining. As the vehicle increases speed, the interval between "squeaks" is reduced, thus making it seem to go away. I had this issue, so I filed off the scale with a metal file. I took care to keep it reasonably even on all sides for the scale i removed and eliminated this noise with zero issues. Less than 15 minutes to repair.
