Taking opinions on fuel injectors for my 93' Jeep GC larado
Hi everyone. Looking to upgrade my stock injectors on my (FEB) 1993 ZJ Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo I6 4.0 w/219,000mi. I've looked around and read about the EV1 (pintle type) & EV6 (Director plate, multi orifice technology) I'm wanting to upgrade to a 4 port/non china based injector. I went on K Suspension.com as they advertised the Bosh EV6-4 port injectors (Remanufactured) $114.00/set, which I was very interested in. I had emailed them stating my year, make, model, etc. Also in my email I had asked what was to be sent to me when ordering the Bosch injectors, they had! Me: knowing that I would need the adapters from a EV1 plugin type to a EV6 type. (As I didn't want to splice into my old existing wires.) They had finally emailed me back stating: For the EV1's we normally stock the FORD 700 or 710 units. I really would like the newer style type as I heard good reviews. I'm just puzzled why they didn't mention anything about adapters and about the Bosch injectors they were advertising on their site for my application. I noticed in a chart on this forum on options for my application. I'm just looking for what's best/tested for my application as the jeep is sluggish in power, etc..
91'-95' 39PSI on the Fuel Rail @ WOT
Option 1: Stock fuel Pressure: NEON 22.5 # 0280155703*
Option 2: 49PSI on the fuel rail, however less spare injector capacity & more expensive.
FORD 19 # 0280155710** + Fuel Pressure Regulator Chrysler # 4418850
Note: I'm not sure what that's all about: + Fuel Pressure Regulator Chrysler # 4418850 (Can anyone explain this to me?)
.
Thank you so much for your expertise, knowledge, and time explaining to me as I'm new to this. Have a great day to you all.
