Kevin's offroad makes a really nice stealth winch bumper with high cleance and a core support Gaurd so I just need about 1200 to get that

If I could get the dimensions from them I would plasma up one and tig it together but I'm sure they won't let me do that I just haven't been able to come up with a good looking functional design for one yet so I'll fork out for this and the rear I'll make

There is a guy on JU that sells ZJ winch bumper plans, and everyone I've seen who bought them raves about them. It's a nice trim looking bumper too, not a big monstrosity. I sure wish someone would come up with something similar for a WJ.

Ah wait, I just pulled it up and found that they have a website - http://flatland4x4.com/

Those warrior winches have gotten good reviews, but you could end up like my buddy. He was telling me how great his smittybuilt was supposed to be, while I was winching him out with my warn. On another site it said the British military has warrior winches on their trucks. Diddnt say about the USA, maybe our boys winch them out with their warns!

As long as you keep the electronics dry, the cheaper winches are fine. That's why I'm putting mine in the engine bay, or you can seal it up yourself. WARN will have the same issues out here in the NW. So they're not worth the money to me..

I have not read through the entire post so I don't know if anyone has made this suggestion (I dont't have time to)

WARN HP series winches... a 9500lb winch with an air compressor. I have one and love the beast. They also come in a 12000lb model.

I love warn and have two. My buddy who has too much money has one of those compressor winches from warn. In my opinion they are over priced, my a/c compressor air system kicks his winch compressors butt. Buy yourself a m8000, affordable and a warn. You wont be disappointed.
