Ticket for "Loud Muffler"

Alrighty, so I went to court this week and showed some pictures to the judge of my muffler. He dismissed it without hesitation. It seems like as long as your muffler is not tampered with then it's okay in Texas.
What gets me mad is that the officer who wrote the ticket never once looked under my car.

good for you, I was gonna say u should fight it because if he did not "test" it and just wrote u a ticket then it should be tossed out.

I got a ticket once for "Excessive speed"... Told the cop it was BS, he didn't have proof, ha! Take that!

He then showed me the radar, and then looked at the construction zone 300 yards from where I was pulled over, then said I was speeding in a construction zone, and accordingly bumped the ticket up to $209...

i have no cat with a cherry bomb glasspack on my 4.0 xj it sounds sweet. i get looks from cops and people all the time but its legal. after your vehicle is a certain age in my state they dont sniff it anymore so you dont need a cat.
