My WJ has 16s on it and a 5X5 bolt pattern. I believe your Overland does also have a 5X5. You could probably find a set of used wheels from a WJ. Black Rock has steel wheels at about $125 each. Plus shipping, of course! Check out jeep4X4.com.

I hate to just ditch the tires so I was wondering is it possible to use these tires on my Jeep? Probably not, but I thought I would ask.

And - I was told at the tire store today that I can't buy steel rims for my Overland - is that true? The rims they want to put the snow tires on cost more than the tires - there has to be something out there that doesn't cost $185 a rim.

I live in Maine so I need good winter tires that won't slide on ice - bought this Jeep to tow our snowmobile trailer in addition to just wanting to get up my driveway in the winter without sliding into a tree.

Wise counsel would be appreciated.

I live in FL and don't have any real experience with snow tires. But as far as a "will they fit" perspective, yes 235/75r17 will fit underneath a 2008 easily.

I don't see why they couldn't put the tires on your Jeep rims.

Ok so I just put 31x10x15 on my zj and only rubbing I have is full turn. I'm looking to eliminate that with some wheel spacers. Dont want to do much of a lift if I have to as I'm on a budget. I dont off road much. My question is with the spacers will that cure my full turn rub or will it now then rub on the fender more when I turn?
