id run minimum 32's, you can prolly do 265/75/16's on stock rims
i have a 1998 zj and im putting a 4 " lift in on 15 inche rims not 16

265/75/16 = ~ 32" where as 265/75/15 = ~ 30.5" I'd tell you to go with 31's+ other wise you'll be sad you didnt go bigger

I guess you're right it does look silly.
That one inch I don't have. Damn it. I guess I should go rip my snorkel off, put my sway bars on and park at the mall hahahaha
I have 31's on 3" of lift (upcountry plus BB), and if I went another 1.5" higher, it wouldnt look right IMO

granted this is on a ZJ not an XJ like yours, if I had another XJ I would just do a 3" lift and trim to hell and run 33's like my old one lol

just got a few weeks ago some 31x10.50 kelly (made by goodyear) TSR tires for 171 a pop at the local tire shop. ive seen them as cheap as 148 but youll be paying shipping at that price. one word for these tires, AMAZING. aggressive lugs but still road mannered tires. not loud on the road at all given the gap and height of the lugs. i havent experienced yet but i read reviews they do awesome in snow and mud both. i wanted an agressive look, yet a 80/20 on/offroad tire. i definitly dont think ive gone wrong here. *****

PS ive seen on a few sites this tire is a 50000 mile tire. i dont know how much truth that is, but i see 35 to 40k easy in their future
