Awesome, thank you for the reference. I think I'm going to be pulling a Tranny in a couple months, unless I happen to have it blow up sooner. Is it tax time yet? lol
I'll post back what I find after checking my fluid level on the Tranny.

BTW, replace the CPS when you reinstall the tranny, they can get damaged very easily. Any good transmission shop always puts in a new one.
My 97 42RE cost me $3200 to rebuild because the clutch drum, pump, torque converter, and cooling lines needed to be replaced. I also went to a national company, not a well respected local shop. My bad!
Also, my aux cooler was plugged solid and had to be pressure purged.

CPS - Check, good to know.
Pulled the Tranny dipstick, found nothing registering at all. Added 1 quart, still no liquid on the stick. Added 1 1/2 more quarts, finally started reading on stick. Still have to add more, it was ridiculously low. Think that might cause my Tranny filter to eat itself from the heat too possibly?

Make sure you're checking the fluid level in NEUTRAL because if you don't, it will read full when it's not.

Thanks for the heads up. I did check it while warm, and I shifted through all the gears, then put into Neutral during fluid check. All is good again! Yay!!
