Turns over but hard to start when warmed up
I have a 2003 Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 v8. Lately, when I go to restart it after driving, it's hard to start. It's turning over just fine, but it's like I have to feather the gas and its at a very low RPM (sub 200) at first, and then starts. When running, it seems to run fine (and have driven 100+ miles after). Any thoughts/ideas?

I have exactly the same issue on a 2002 WJ with the 4.7. It went on for a year or more, now will not start at all. I am thinking maybe needs new starter. It was not alternator as it seemed to keep battery charged fine. If I waited an hour or two it would start fine when it was working. Tried new battery was not the issue. Maybe a loose wire but I am thinking starter or one of those connections.
