Water sloshing around, how to drain
Hi guys, basically we had a water bin in the trunk/boot of the jeep that leaked probably around 15L of water into the boot. I managed to get to the cargo floor and wipe some of it up but I can hear sloshing sounds when I drive the Jeep. It sounds like water has got all the way down to the driver's end somehow. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get to and drain the water out please?

Ok I found 4 plugs, 4 under driver's seat + 1 under the passenger that is draining out water which is great. I might let it drain for a while and see how it goes. A couple of questions:
1. Have I missed any more plugs?
2. Once it is drained and sorted, do I need to do anything to prevent rust?

Sounds like you are on the right path and I wish you good luck. I just don't have the knowledge/experience with the 2013 Cherokee's. Although that model is 10 years old now, it is too new for me!!

Welcome to the forum.
My very strong suggestion is to remove the seats, console and the carpeting from the vehicle.
Set the carpeting onto saw horses in the sun. Change the orientation over and over until the carpeting is dry, dry, dry. Perhaps even very carefully lightly mist some bleach onto the backside to help decrease the possibility of mold smell.

Clean and bone dry on both sides is good.
Shouldn't be a rust concern for dry metal painted on both sides.
The only potential issue would be electrical connectors that were submerged. If any (not yellow exterior airbag wiring, leave those alone), then I would disconnect the connector and carefully squirt in dielectric grease into each contact prior to reconnecting.

Similar Problem
I have a 2014 grand Cherokee that when parked in my parking lot, flooded. It sat in prob 2 feet of water. Mechanically she seems fine but a lot of water did get in and I can’t find it. I hear it sloshing around under the floor when I brake or turn hand and accelerate quickly.
any input ideas or tips?
