what's needed for 4.5" lift
I'm gonna put 4.5" lift coils on my 96 Grand Cherokee with a 318.
What all do you need besides lift coils, shocks, and different driveshafts?
Do I need long arms or just adjustable ones? longer trackbar?

Long arms are nice, but for the average wheeler, I don't believe they're needed. Set up correctly you'd ride nicer than stock, and flex like a ****, but most people don't need them.

Piecing a kit together can help you save alot of money. I pieced mine together in the year I was deployed, and I'm in mine under $500. That's both TB's, coils, 8 CA's, and quick disco's.

front/rear adjustable track bars
4.5" lift coils
longer shocks
Sway bar quick disconnects
Anyone know of a good place to get it cheap?
Will I need a pitman drop arm?

Cheap, hmm probably not. Look around in the classifieds on all the forums, that's how I picked mine up, but again I had a year to purchase the pieces.
There's really no way to know if you'll need a DPA until everything is installed. You'll just have to check the angles then.

That's a good start, but you still need to address track bars with that. You can get that lift for the same price from Rough Country, or if you look around at online stores they offer discounts.

The deal is I have some extra money and it's burning a whole in my wallet.. lol
I think I'm just gonna shop around a while and find deals on each part and just put it on as I go.
Would 4.5 lift coils on stock control arms be a bad idea?
