Cool windows won't roll up

I shut off the engine and attempted to roll up electric windows, as I always do, they start to roll up and stop. I turned on ignition and still wont roll up.
Got manual to find out which fuse may be blown and none are labeled for window operations. So I tried the one for accessories #28, forth from end but which end, so I pulled the forth from each end of row. All looked fine. decided to take car home as threatening rain. Started car and rear diver window goes down on its own, not unusual. So I try the front windows and they work. rolled them up and left it that way.
So what could be the problem, it is certain to happen again at the most un-opportune time?

Welcome to CF!

There is an overload circuit breaker built into each motor. It should function after it cools down and closes. It usually opens during the "up" function because that's when the most load happens unless the window binds on the rain wipers like mine does occasionally. Remember the driver's window gets the most usage.

The fuse is in the junction box under the dash depending on the year and model and the fuse number may also be different.
