WJ Cylinder Compression

WJ Cylinder Compression
Hello, I have a 2001 grand cherokee laredo with the 4.7L V8 and I am getting 0 compression in cylinder one.
The spark plug is smashed at the end closing the gap to 0, its like something is hitting it. Also the spark plug has a good amount of oil on the end and the oil in the car seems to be ok as its not cloudy.
What could be causing this to happen?
Thank you for your time

With the valve covers and spark plugs removed, observe valve action while turning the crankshaft. After a few revolutions you should be able to detect bad/rocker valve action...
