Well I had that test ... as I was in -34ēC temperatures (-48ēC with the wind chill) Without a Power Cord... 
On two (2) Occasions I had to hope and Pray, Starting would not be a big issue ....
It started both times ...
There was for a short time a "Hum" noise that is not normally there on starting......
I hope this didn't hurt anything...
It still runs beautifully..
I Love this Jeep ...
(I Always carry and use a Power cord now in colder temps)
