Almost all of my stuff was purchased used over the span of almost 1 year. I bought both adj trackbars, a full set of CA's, swaybar disco's, Clayton XJ 4.5" lift springs, all new CA bushings/joints, all new TRE's and BJ's, and getting it "custom" aligned. All of this was after swapping in an XJ HP30 and regearing it to 3.73 gears. I'm not even finally geared, I'm swapping to 4.56's to get my OD back on the interstate with the 35's. Regearing, much heavier duty steering, and upgrading the rear axle are all left until I'm done messing with this ZJ.

That's sounds like a pretty badass build I can decently tell I got a lot more learning an all to get all of that hah, what do the sway bar discos do? And the gears an all? You think I should be fine running on the stock ratios?

Sway bar disco the sway bar to allow for more flex. I don't know what gears you have, but my 318, with 3.73 gears, and 35's hunts for OD on the highway. I'm going to 4.56.

The most important thing is to keep your drive-line angles as close to factory as possible with the aftermarket parts that are installed. (if your going to run it on the highway or around town.) That is why it is best to buy lift-kits from reputable companies, because you arnt only buying the kit, you are also getting an engineered product that is compatible with your vehicle. But if you do end up piecing a kit togeather, i would suggest that you need to do your homework beforehand because if you dont, you will constantly be chasing problems such as "death wobble", alignment issues, uneven and premature tire wear, ball joints, u-joints, vibration, leaking seals, and drive-line bearing failure.

Yeah, most of the kits don't even contain all the necessary components.

Ok so I think I have a little more grasp on whats going on, so what do you think if i were to go with the spacers and a full set of adjustable uppers and lowers and both adjustable front and back trac bars
