Im trying to figure out what the biggest tire I can run on a 2500 6.7L Cummins diesel with out lifting or changing wheels. I use the truck to haul cars around but it looks so wimpy with 245/70/17s on it. Truck is bone stock but want an aggressive look to it.

There are calculators online or....

1. take the first number (the width in millimeters) and divide by 25.4, this give you the width in inches

2. multiply be the second number (aspect ratio) divide by 100 (percentage), this gives you the sidewall height

3. multiply by 2, the add the 3rd number (wheel diameter)

Example: 245/70R17

1. 245/25.4= 9.64567 inches *width of tire

2. 9.64567*0/100 or 9.64567/.7 = 6.75197 inches

3. 6.752*2 = 13.504 + 17 = 30.5 = 30.5" tire height
