454 chevy s10 frame 1 tons and 53 militaries.. suggestions?

As for the frame, i second the K5 frame... if you go S10, do a 1st generation frame (pre 1995)... not a 2nd generation (1995-2004)... if you do 2nd gen you should strengthen the frame at the firewall where it hoops up for the front axle. I have had a few friends have cracking problems there with only stock rigs and moderate wheeling... If your going this big i would chop it off at the firewall and tube it out. I have not heard much on the 1st gen frames... K5 is your best bet.
I wheel a 2000 Sonoma ZR2... S10's are kinda my thing. (more so than Jeeps) lol
