For all you car Freaks out there...

I'm so glad to see a Skyline start this thread; it's just a fantastic vehicle through and through. I would love the opportunity to own/drive one. I'm a big Nissan fanatic b/c in my eyes they get it. Name another main stream mfg. that produced 3 real sports cars at the same time over a 10 year span (twin turbo (Fairlady) 300zx, twin turbo Skyline, turbo Silvia). My hats off to them.
The coolest car (besides mine of course) I've ever driven was a Panoz Roadster. I drove an Elise once but I wasn't that impressed to tell you the truth.
Here's my favorite; my 500hp Nissan 240sx.

Even though it redefines the term slow, I still enjoy rowing through the gears in the AMC Eagle, something about it I don't know, their grabby. (and no that leak is not from this car, hahaha)
If I want to make it home before the ice cream melts, the grocery getter becomes the ride of choice.
Ok, so not really fast (tops out at 105 ish), but it's fun none the less and the sound it makes, keeps me grinning.
My friends 401 powered rambler, I've never driven it, just rode shot gun, that's a car for the $100 bill on the dash bet.....
Next, would be the 64 falcon (my grandfathers), nothing spectacular, but just a neat old car for cruising, V8 and 4 speed, what else could one want, lol.

I've owned a basic '96 Corvette, and driven my bosses Lingenfelter Z06, but neither really tickled my fancy. I guess its my old age, but my favorite rides (other then my motorcycles) have been my Dodge Ram when I'm towing a huge trailer and my lowered S10 hot rod. I sold the S10 and I knew I loved it when even three years later, I still think about it on a daily basis. Man I loved that little truck.

you got me thinking about the 82 S10 I had. It had the Isuzu 4 cylinder that kept cutting off, never could figure out why, so I pulled it
and put in a 327 with a 350 turbo trans. Go into a race with an IROC Z (he lost). When he pulled up beside me and asked what I had
under the hood, I said a 4 cylinder --- 2 of them. Ah! the memories.

throttle stuck. Brand new BG SpeedDemon carb.
Something internal to the carb stuck at 35mph. (all the linkage was fine and the buterflies cleared the intake)
Novice to HP and a bad choice. I decided to rap the gas to free the stick the way I had in my old Torino and it stuck near WOT and got sideways. It spun and hit a tree backwards and knocked me out. When I came-to it was flying down the road with the *** end stove in. I tried to steer it but it was doing 60 or so and I hit a pole on the rt side. The driveline is in my current car, with a Holley on it. Its a nice car but the black one was perfect.
