Ive been more of a corvette fan but the camaros have always been on the top of my list right under the corvette. Favorite is either a 1967 camaro ss or the 1972 z28s

i had a '94 camaro with the 3.4. it was slow as *****, but i had a good time driving it. i wanted to swap in a built ls1 and t56 but i sold it instead. it had 230K miles and ran really well! now my brother has a 99 LS1/T56 and I try really hard to get him to mod it but he's being REASONABLE and not doing that :/ o well... one day i'll build an lsx... i want to get a '69 SS/RS and swap in an LS engine.

youre expecting a 170 hp ****ty efi to have power. they are good motors, not something to be super fast or anything. if you want more power out of it ditch the tbi crap and dump a 600cfm carb on it. that would wake it up alot. people on thirdgen.org have gotten some decent power out of them also.many people write them off because they dont know how to work on them. i had tons of fun with my 305 powered car.
here is what my car was like with a slightly modded 305

you sir are making absolutely NO SENSE!!!! i dont want power out of a 305. I KNOW they cant put down that much power. if your going to put that kind of money into a 305, why not just get a 350? its a better platform overall. and so much more market and availability to make it badass.... what can you do with a 305? punch it out to what a 307? bolt ons. a big cam good heads and a carb? regardless. a buddy of mine had a 87 305 with a LT1 cam, P&P heads, 1.6 RR worked TB, spacer, full MSD, dual exhaust, a/c and smog delete, tune/chip. 3200 stall and my 3.4 v6 camaro with full exhaust, intake tune and P&P TB. pulled him ridiculously, now take EVERYTHING he did.... which he later listened to me. but it all into a 350 and pulled me like there was no tomorrow..... what im saying is i know the 305s arent power houses. thats why i dont want them. the 305 is for the 16yo kid that wants to say he has a V8 but mommey and daddy back in the 80s didnt want them to have the v8 power. so you have yourself a V8 making the same if not less power then a v6

Heres mine. First car I ever bought, 9 years ago. She looked nothing like this at the time. Lots of time and money later this is what Ive got. Current has a 355/5 speed that made283rwhp and 390rwtq. Ive done everything myself on this car. Currently hunting an LS1 6 speed to use for my 5.3 swap

had two Cameros a 78 Berlinetta, and a 86 Z28. Had to get rid of them both (leadfooting got me in trouble) tried to trade the 78 once for a 68 firebird 4.8 litre OHC. the guy wanted 2,000 more as well, so that never happened.

I'm more of a Corvette fan but I recently sold my 94 Z28. Had to put a new tranny in it the day I bought it so while it was being built I decided to buy a few goodies for the motor, nothing major just a mild cam and headers. Looked really nice by the time I was done with it and I wish I could find pictures of it

First car was a 1992 Z28 w/305.
I have a 1991 Z28 w/trashed 350 back home that I'm trying to sell. No time or money to get it running, unfortunately.
