Have you contacted the owner yet? Just curious because that seems WAY too low. That same Wrangler, with a hard top would go for AT LEAST double that. Seens like a scame to me. But if it's not, i'd jump all over that! Great price.

I talked to him on the phone for about 20 minutes. He started out asking $4k, but has had nothing but tire kickers as he has gone down on the price. The paint is rough on the hard top and there's a lot of scratches. The guy wheel's it and isnt afraid to talk about it. No rust at all.
The paint means nothing to me, I can work magic with a paint gun.

That's an awesome price, definitely go for that one! When I was looking at my Cherokee almost a year ago i came across a 98, 4.0, 156k miles, paint was really rough, no hard top and the guy wouldn't budge at $5500. $2900 is an amazing price for ANY TJ. Even the 2.5's go for 4.5k + around here.

NOT true, lived in Ft Lauderdale for 15yrs, 10 mins from the beach! Unless your car was parked on the beach for 10yrs and never washed then your point would be valid!
Dont know ONE person that has ever had a problem with salt water
and everyone is 30mins or less from the beach. Im taking from the everglades to the beach, maybe 20 miles
Driving a dirty unkept car in South Florida is a FELONY!!
if it was rusted why'd you buy it? If you let a car set long enough without caring for it what do you expect ANYWHERE? I just know rusted cars in FL is UNCOMMON!!

Buddy said it is in GREAT shape. He spent about two hours checking it over and everything so if it is still there when I get down there in two weeks I'll be buying it
