Dubbbb loveee!!!

Never owned one either, but my pops had 4 micro's when he lived in England, and we've had a Passat and a Jetta in the family fleet for years.

Once I get my XJ situation worked out, I'm seriously considering a 70-74 Beetle as a project car, just do a restore and a lil' stance werks to it.

VW's were my first love. My first car was an 87 16v GTI and that got me started in the ways of vdubing. Through the years I've had a 1990 G60 Corrado, 1994 Jetta, 2001 VR6 GTI, 1984 Rabbit Diesel, !973 Transporter, 1977 Westfalia camper, 1971 Beetle, and an 1835cc VW powered sandrail. I'm currently without a VW in the stable but I do work on my dads 77 Westfalia and he has an 81 Vanagon Westfalia that I'm fixing up for him. I need to find pics of all my dubs. :-)

I almost bought a 924, but didn't know much about them and how hard parts would be to find.

Beetle with special trailer.
This just seems wrong, but i do think it would be amazingly maneuverable.

I took 2 months off work and drove around the country in a `65 microbus. I bought it for $300, built a mild 1641 for it, broke it in and took off.
