well, my neighbors have literally gone insane. they called the cops twice now for little kids hitting wiffle ***** over their fence. i think the last cop said i have around 50 complaints alone at my house..i know almost all the officers by name. but they need to show up so they dont complain to the city.. every other night when i come home, they will be watching from the upstairs window waiting for me to get home and then stand in the doorway and watch me walk inside. its really creepy

So guys im growing to dislike my jeep. Every week its something different I have poured all my money and time into this thing and its just not worth it. It started off with little things now the problems are getting worse. I cant keep putting all my money into this thing and im only 16 and the jeep isnt dependable. Dont get me wrong I love the thing but i cant see myslef keeping this thing around. What do you guys think?

Ive had my Jeep for like 2 months now and I think it has spent more time i the garage being worked on then on the road. I traded my 98 Camaro for it because Im going to Alaska. This is the first Jeep and 4x4 I have ever owned. So far I have spent like 1200 dollars just getting it right. From rear end repair to new front drive shaft, massive tune up and I still have parts and other s**t to do to it. Most of it from the idiot that owned it before me. As my uncle always said this guy road it hard and parked it wet!! But I am having fun and learning alot. My wife hates it but I love the damn thing. I go wheelin with my buddies and even though It still has some issues, I am out wheelin them every time. I have not got this thing stuck once and I have been in some hairy stuff. Just take your time and do what you can. I know from experience that if you get rid of it you will regret it. As stated before, get you a little hoopty to DD and build the Jeep. You will have some fun in the future when it is all fixed up!!

I hope you don't sell it, you're getting it the way you like it. Put in that stroker engine you keep talking about if you do need a new engine.

Yeah Im still here at Fort Riley, until Late May anyway. Im getting ready to PCS to Alaska. From what I understand about Fort Riley is you just have to go to outdoor rec. and get a vehicle pass. They give you a map of where you can go. I have been thinking about checking it out before I leave. I have been going to Tuttle Creek. They have some good trails up there. What did you do in the Army? Congrats on Getting out if that is what you wanted!

I am with you 100% I have a love hate relationship with my XJ. I dump time and money in to it and it responds by braking or becoming undrivable. There are days I wish I had just gone with a nicer newer truck for wehat I want to accomplish with my cherokee.
Now its starting to cometogather so I am waiting it out but I am almost sure it will let me down again.
