keep the cj and find a place to live a block away from your campus and walk to school not only will you get to keep a family heirloom you will be doing the enviroment, wallet, sate of mind, and physical health a big favor.

i wouls keep it me and a friend went and looked at a ragged old cj and they wanted like 5500 for it the clean ones are selling for around 7 to 8 here in socal. xj's are a dime a dosen you can pick them up for like 500 to 1000 for a nice early 90's model with fule injection.

keep it
i would def. keep the cj. That thing is sweet and it probably wouldn't be that bad of a dd. I drove my lifted wrangler with 33's 120 miles every day when i was comuting to college and wheeled it on the weekends and never had problems. Plus that cj is very unique. Not to mention it was your dads.

I agree. That is a great vehicle to keep and remember your dad with. I know it is hard to afford anything while in college and a cherokee is a great daily driver but you should keep your daily driver you have or get another beater just to get by without having to sell the CJ/YJ.
