I had a 2001 and a 2000 Grand Prix bot GT's and they were great on gas and great sleepers. I use to race ricers all day in their shivics with the coffee can exhaust and hurt their feelings with a trunk full of groceries. God i miss those days.

well we are looking into the issue with the olds again (i cant really afford to pay for the truck with the nothing im making here and i dont like driving it at all) so basically im looking online and i find this> 2000 LeSabre, intermittent shudder [Archive] - Buick Forums (same transaxle) and when i google 4t606 shudder it pulls up a lot... so im thinking a quart of some brand of trans additive or just driving in "3" since "D" is overdrive, and i want to put an external tranny cooler in the car too.

i made it home for a week, did some trading around, and got this vvvv for $480 out of pocket!



its a 1998 GMC Suburban 1500 thats been in the family since 04ish and has been the tow rig for family trips w/ our camper. its loaded and has the standard 5.7 vortec engine with 173k on it and the only thing its needed in the last 100k was a fuel pump, although i think the alternator needs to be replaced now. plans i have for it are new speakers and possibly a muffler.
